Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Shipwrights Arms

Somewhat cramped pub, with a substantial square island bar in the centre but limited room on each of the four sides. As you would expect, the decor has a nautical theme but the stand-out feature is an impressive tiled picture of a old shipyard scene just inside the side door. Can get very busy after work or when there is a big football match on the large screens, but the service is usually fairly efficient. Two banks of three handpumps at opposite ends of the island bar, and on this visit I found Doom Bar and Coaster (£4.35) from Sharp's and Brakspear Bitter available at the front, plus Harvey's, Ghost Ship and a duplicate at the back.

A stunning exterior gives way to a less interesting interior, the only feature of note inside is a tiled mural of a dockyard scene from a few centuries ago. Is a large single room with high a ceiling, the floor is carpeted. The large central island bar has two banks of three handpumps, all were in use but had a very uninspiring selection,Doom Bar was doubled up,Deuchars IPA,St Austell Tribute,Adnams Southwold and Brakespeare Bitter, the latter was as expected very average. With a better beer range I would be tempted back, but as it stands probably not.

Slightly scruffy pub with central bar taking up a lot of space means it gets very busy being close to London Bridge & the Shard and with only standard beers available not really worth a special effort.
