Ram Brewery aka Youngs pub at the base of a nondescript 1970's building, named (for some reason) after the pre-crowned moniker of William IV. Long narrow and rectangular front facer inside with little of note; light shades and a dart board. Out front is a quasi-permanent covered area which effectively doubles or even trebles the seating area. Six pumps at the bar with five ales on; St Austell Tribute, Wimbledon Pit Bull, Sharps Doom Bar, Youngs Original and Sambrooks Pale Ale, a half of the latter was poor and probably the first out in hours (NBSS 1.5). Then compounded by the spiky Antipodean barman trying to charge me 3 quid for by ringing it through as Camden. Once we had decided that it should indeed be cheaper, £2.30 was still a wounder given how poor it was. Don't waste your time here.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Prince William Henry
Now a Ram (i.e. tenanted Young's) pub with a rectangular bar housed under a small 1970s low-rise block of flats. A reasonable attempt has been made to give the well-maintained interior a bit of a traditional look, with a raised seating area at one end and two dartboards. Substantial front patio / decking beer garden, enlivened by some pot plants and hanging baskets, and partly under cover and screened from the wind. Small 'Back Yard' extension at the left-hand rear corner. On this visit, I found Young's Bitter, Doom Bar, Tribute, Hogs Back TEA and two from Sambrook's - Wandle and Pumphouse Pale (£4.40) on the six handpumps.

Long rectangular busy bar.Nice to see a couple of dartboards and some space to use them.Good outside covered seating.Rare in this area.Doombar,Tribute and 2 Youngs beers on.
