A Bit About The Marlborough
The new art gallery music bar party house in South East X is The Marlborough. A Camberwell/Peckham based mix of Only Fools & Horses, Spinal Tap, a tequila fountain, Phoenix Nights, the local art college, various musicians racing round the garden on children's toys and a proper favourite with locals. It's run by the mavericks behind the infamous Paradise Bar /Six String(r.i.p.) who have installed a stage, PA, lights, refurbishment, a juke box (the best tunes in Sarf London are being added in as we type - musicians, bring it on!) and a garden with a wall inviting outdoor art. Launched during this year's Artful event, and already attracting Edinburgh Festival/Perrier Award faves for it's Tuesday comedy nights
