Tris C left this review about The Dead Dolls House
This was once a pub called the Hare & Hounds as alluded to by two H&H monogrammes to an interior wooden cross member. There were hardly any customers in on our early evening mid-week visit, which doesn't bode well. It's very bright in here, courtesy of modern lighting and loads of tea lights in clear holders all over the place. Walls are white, the floor is modern bare boarded and furniture is modern restaurant style. The bar has a black marble top but no ale, just Caledonian Coast to Coast craft at a painful £2.90 a half, though it wasn't too bad once warmed up. Music was muted. The bow fronted window is a nice touch but otherwise this bar's name sums it up: dead.

This looked like a proper pub from the outside but i was very dissapointed once inside as this pub was very trendy and not pub like at all.
The pub was very busy and it was quite dark inside i could'nt see any handpumps on the bar so i asked for a Guinness which was ok.
This was'nt my sort of pub and i would not go in here again.

This is a lounge/cocktail bar and I spotted Amstel and Kronenburg, but couldn't read the other pumps as it was too dark and the names on the metal etched handles were too feint.
I asked for a Guinness, which they had, and the friendly barman served me a decent pint, but I'll not be returning as this is not my scene.
