Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The George & Vulture

Attractive Fuller's corner pub with decorative features on both tall facades, and the interior also benefits from plenty of window space on the side elevation. Refurbished at some stage with a semi-traditional look, and although the furniture is quite sparse there is plenty of outdoor seating on the pavements. The focus here is on craft keg beers, and there are plenty to choose from on the counter and bar-back taps, but Pride, the seasonal Grand Slam (£5.90) and Rosie's Pig cider are also available from three handpumps at the far end.

A first in here about six years ago so deserving of a return visit.
The place doesn't seem to have changed in the interim period other than that my last visit was at lunchtime rather than mid-evening. It's quite an impressive building, notably tall, but isn't that large inside, looking all the smaller when rammed as it was when we arrived.
Furniture is conventional and the floor is boarded. There's a mirrored bar back, but what strikes you most obviously is the age of the customers - I would have ID-checked all the little treasures. I did spot one person who looked about 30 so perhaps he was one of their parents. As with all young person's pubs, music was too loud and we arrived during a quiz, with the most complex competition instructions ever issued.
Service was dire; about three people were served before us though we had obviously arrived earlier.
Ales: Butcombe Rare Breed (went off as we arrived) and Fuller's London Pride and Red Fox at £2.10 a half which was flat and lifeless.
I can't see any compelling reason to return, at least not in the foreseeable future.

A rather basic single roomed Fullers pub , seems to be unchanged from Rex's review of nearly three years ago, the robust furniture remains as do the horned skulls on the wall. On the bar are five pumps in total, a bank of three and a separate two, but Fullers Pride and Front Row were doubled up leaving a solitary guest of Butcombe Rare Breed which was rather non descript at £2.20 a half.I found the whole place rather lacklustre and I was the only punter in there at 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon, needless to say I am not likely to make a return visit.
