Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Cannick Tapps

Basement bar (formerly the London Stone) located directly across the road from Cannon Street station, and thus busiest later on weekday afternoons but closed at the weekend. Slightly split-level layout with mixed seating (including a few booths) but space around the bar for vertical drinking. No cask ale these days as far as I could see, but a more interesting choice of eight craft beers on the bar-back taps, from the likes of Forest Road, Siren, Tiny Rebel, Beavertown and a couple from Two Tribes (including my Power 'premium pilsner', £5.50) with the two-part counter also having more standard keg options from the hooped brass founts on each side.

The Cannick Tapps is a small cellar bar with serving counter that faces raised seating, which was a bit of a squeeze for my manly frame! Premium keg products were available along Sharp’s Doom Bar and Watney’s Starlight. Dark Star’s Hophead and Wells Bombardier were coming soon. Pub grub is available, the burger was priced at £11 which is pretty good for the area. I recall there being some background music playing and the flat screen television was connected to a games console, no live sports signs as far as I could see. I think this place is worthy of a quick stop off if passing, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to revisit.

A cellar bar opposite Cannon Street station with a rather contrived feel from a refurbishment with much recycled wood, tiled walls, industrial seats and arty light fittings, probably taken direct from the craft bar catalogue, or would have been if there was such a thing. Friendly enough though, and at least maintains some handpumps along with the craft stuff. Not the most interesting range at time of visit, being Sea Fury, Shep's Whitstable Bay and Doom Bar, but in fair condition.
