Carpeted throughout, the Sutton Arms has open plan seating at the front and an L-shaped serving counter in the right rear corner hidden behind a margarita slushy machine and pie cabinet that I would have probably put on the back bar. Paulener and lots of craft keg were available alongside Ossett’s White Rat, Five Points Best, Left Handed Giant’s Titan and Burning Sky Brewery’s Waves Away from the four hand pumps. An old school boozer that appeals to the young afterwork masses, they’re certainly doing something right. One for the revisit list.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Sutton Arms
Don't know how I managed to miss this pub previously, but it's a rather unusual mix of old-school corner local and a modern craft beer pub. With up to 22 spaces on the chalkboard, this could include four cask ales together with an interesting mix of keg beers and ciders. Floc's All Four Citra (£5.95) proved a good choice to go with a packet of Tayto's Spring Onion flavoured crisps. Good to meet the legendary old boss too, on patrol after coming down from his flat upstairs.

Heard good things about this good beer guide regular and it didnt disappoint. In my mind, I had it down as an 8pm closer on a Sunday. It is in fact 7pm. I made it there for 6:30 and managed to negotiate an extra half at 7:05pm. So it felt like a lock in. As close as I'll get to one these days, to be sure.
A great beer selection - my choice was Kernel 1880 Bitter on cask, but it could have been any number, including some Belgains.
Back Street boozer - long and narrow with the bar at the top. The music selection was go good, I thought my phone had connected to the bluetooth. Until it went off at 7pm.
Lovely place.
