Modern pub on road out of town, serving local estates, with one large par and an even larger function room. Extensive children's area at rear and an imposing 'Danish Invader' statue at the front. Not a bad example of its type and tidily kept. Four handpumps were offering Doom Bar, Bombardier, Ruddles County and John Smith's but sadly two sampled were not up to much at all. Food limited to Sunday Carvery.
