Alan Winfield left this review about The Peacock House

The Peacock is a decent looking pub that is on a busy road.
I was expecting an half decent pub going by the looks of it from the outside but outside appearances can be deceiving, once inside there was one long room that had deen done up in the crappy modern way, there was very uncomfortable seating and the whole pub seemed very poor.
The pub was empty on my mid saturday afternoon visit so i presume that this is a young persons pub that fills up in the evening.
There were no real ales on the bar and the only bitter was John Smiths smooth crap so i had a Guinness.
