Soup Dragon left this review about The Countryman

At first glance, this place looks like a rather dull 1970s estate pub, despite etched glass and a little pink render to break up the brick of the main building and the several extensions. If someone said it was a GBG pub and the home of the Leila Cottage Brewery, you would likely snigger than take it seriously. Well, it is a pub and restaurant, with a patio area. A new build on the site of Leila's cottage (hence the brewery name). It has a field for caravans. The interior has a family room, which is in cream and wood panel, with a blue carpet, white ceiling and kid's play machines. The main pub is irregular in shape, with a dining area (we didn't eat, so can't comment on that) and a pool area. This was mainly in white and wood panel, with a white ceiling and patterned carpet. Lots of eclectic photos, trophies, ornaments and memorablia is scattered about and on the walls. Some paintings are in fact by local artists and are for sale. Entertainment came via the radio. The service was friendly and there were several locals in, as well as a few diners. Beer; tap stuff with Leila's Leila Lazydays, Ace Ale (named after a former nickname of the pub) and One Off. All three were class. A really great pub and the highlight of our visit to Ingoldmells - a light in a sea of darkness. A must if in the area.
