Operated for many years as a restaurant, bar and hotel under the name The Olive but changed hands in July/August 2020 and reopened after Covid lockdown, stating on Facebook: "Not just a restaurant anymore!!!! Just drinks, private parties and functions all catered for….. walk ins welcome."
However, seems to be open just three days a week - certainly it was not open when I was in Market Rasen on Tuesday this week.

This pub is more of a restaurant nowadays, with a smallish bar to the left as you enter and bare brick behind, but the rest of the establishment with modern decor in gastro pastel shades. To the right are the main seating areas, with a warm fire in the middle, and behind the bar is an open kitchen where you can see the food being prepared. Like most gastropubs it has lost its bar billiards table, but it has retained three ale pumps, on our visit serving Fulstow Northway IPA (a good pint I thought), Fulstow Common and Tom Wood’s Lincoln Gold. It was very quiet on our visit, and didn’t really inspire us very much.

A brilliant transformation from the old pub. Open fires and quality beers. Amazing to see such an array of continental lager, wheat beer and fruit beers on draught in such a small town. Certainly a jewel in Market Rasen.
