Will Larter left this review about The Plough Inn

A smart old fashioned village local with brick pillars replacing the former internal walls, but still a cosy feel of separate rooms. Lots of brass and pictures to attract the eye, and four hand pumps on the bar. These were offering Batemans XB, St Austell Tribute, Timothy Taylor Landlord and Castle Rock Harvest Pale at the time of our visit. A group of locals stood around the bar nattering and it's good to see a village local, even a village like this which is more like a dormitory town, fulfilling its function.
