Definitely a gay bar because of the rainbow flags on the wall. Other than the bar staff only me in the place. No HPs - just keg rubbish. A tick off but I won't be going back.

I first went in this pub when it was called The Swiss Cottage, this was a Manns tied house with no real ales on the bar, things have changed a lot here since our first visit.

The Scene is an openly gay pub which is just off the city centre.
Once inside there is a decent sized single L shaped room with the bar facing, the room is bare boarded, there are normal tables and chairs in the bar area to the right, the left side is up one step, the seating here is tall tables and chairs and high bench seating to the front, there is also a stage in this area.
No real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Tetley Smooth which was a bit cold and too expensive for Lincoln, the service seemed friendly enough.
The pub was empty on my late Saturday afternoon visit, which was probably a saving grace.
Signs near the bar said "Men Love Men,Women Love Women".
I had to go to the WC and found vending machines not vending the usual things you see,but some strange things some which you blow up,i dread to think where.
Not my sort of pub,but those who like these pubs will no doubt have a good time here.
