The Odd House Tavern is a short walk from the middle of Oakham.
Once inside there was a square shaped room through the main entrance, this room had normal tables and chairs, there was a smaller room down one step to the right, this room had high backed leather chairs and looked more like a dining room,it was empty on our Saturday dinner visit, there was a small drinking area to the left of the main room and a large barn like room to the far left.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Adnams bitter which was a decent drink, the other beers were Bombardier and GK Abbot.
The pub was fairly busy but this place was not really to our liking.

I felt this pub is trying to hard to get people in to seat down and eat. The bar is in the centre of the pub, lounge on the right too many tables and chairs. Lounge to the rear more tables and chairs. Chairs are modern high back finished with brown leather, more suited to a modern restaurant. Two ales on Bombardier and Abbott.
