Alan Winfield left this review about The Red Lion

The Red Lion is a distinctive looking pub that is just off the very busy A60 Nottingham to Loughborough road.
When we went in this pub it was a Shipstones tied house and there was a fairly basic bar and a comfortable lounge.
There were two real ales on here and we had a drink of Shipstones bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Shipstones mild.
