The Royal George is a decent enough looking pub and very handy for the train station.
Once inside there is a single room which runs the width of the pub,the bar is on the left side which is bare boarded, there is a pool table to the front left, the right side of the room is carpeted and has comfy bench seating with chairs and small stools, there was a TV to the right showing the Liverpool v Hull game, there is alsoa dart board in the middle area.
There were two real ales on,i had a drink of Wadworth 6X which was a decent drink, the other real ale was GK IPA.
I thought this was a decent pub to have a drink in.

Friendly enough pub. You can have a laugh with the few inebriated oldies of an afternoon. 1 cask ale which was sadly the undrinkable Tetleys.

Opened up large one roomer, but with a couple of distinct areas. Mainly dining style tables & chairs to the right as you enter and a pool room to the left. There's a small stage which looks like it's used for karaoke. It was getting towards the end of a long day when I called in here and whilst there were a couple of cask beers on the bar I can't remember what they were. I only had a half as I was heading for the railway station, it was a decent drink though, so no complaints. I'll call in again next time I'm in Tod, hopefully a bit earlier in the day to give it a fair chance.
