Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Swan Hotel
Prominent pub on a busy road junction, and looks quite impressive from outside. However, the interior proves to be a basic town-centre boozer, that has been opened out and stripped of all character at some stage. A number of wooden benches can also be found at the front. Apart from the pool table, music and karaoke events seem to be the main draw here. Beer-wise, Ossett Yorkshire Blonde (£3.20) was oddly - for Lancashire - the only real ale available from the four handpumps.
