From the outside it is an impressive looking pub. Sadly the inside isn't much cop. A rather morose looking, mostly olive green interior and a rather rubbish drinks selection. No handpumps, no real ale. Such a pity.

Called into the newly refurbished & reopened Wheatsheaf on Thursday night. Similar layout as before with two raised areas, one to the rear and one on the right as you enter. These areas are now quite foody. The rest of the pub is set up with high tables for drinkers. It's all very bright and clean now. There's several large TV screens for showing sport now as well. Two handpumps on the bar Moorhouse's Pride Of Pendle & Blond Witch. The Blond Witch was a reasonable pint without being really top notch. It's much better than it was and is worth calling in for one again.
