The Summit, Summit, Littleborough

Called in here whilst walking the canal from Littleborough to Todmorden. It's an old, stone built roadhouse that has been broken out and modernised. There's a load of decking at the side and a beer garden including kids playthings at the rear. It's a pleasant enough place to sit despite the road being pretty close. Inside is now all on large room which is nicely decorated. Three ales available on our visit from the extended Marston's stable, Ringwood Boondoggle, Marston's 61 Deep and a rebadged Thwaites beer called Summit Ale. My pint of 61 Deep was in good nick. We'll happily call in here again whilst on a canal walk.
