A Greene King gastropub. Internally it’s a tight U-shape. Bar and drinking area to the left as you enter, dining to right. Brown and mushroom shades, tub seating and the usual gastro-by-numbers feel though the dodgy painted windows look like a misstep. Selection of papers. Two ales on, a house beer of unknown provenance (probs GK rebadge) and a pretty good Abbot. Preferred it slightly to the Pineapple but to be honest neither of Dorney’s pubs did anything for me.
