It must have been the same young lady working there when I called in a few weeks ago !! Still no real beer but it was busy for mid afternoon and I sat adjacent some " old boys " who were debating the merits [or not] of other pubs in the area, some of which must have closed quite a few years back . . . .

Large lager barn with a club at the rear. An almost totally featureless room with several big screen TV's and a quiz machine, plus a few bandits. It was pretty busy at 6:10 last Friday and I couldn't work out why initially. As there was no real stuff I asked for a half of Carlsberg. The barman said " You sure? A half is £1.40 and a pint is only £1.60". So of course I had a pint. £1.60!!!! no wonder it was full. This may well have been happy hour, I didn't ask. I can't really think of any reason why I would ever visit here again unless I've fallen on very hard times. Gets an extra point for the price.
