Oddly shaped Joseph Holt's pub sited at the junction of a busy crossroads and seems deceptively larger on the inside than it appears from the outer. On entry from the main road entrance, the tap room is to your right with another room to the left, which leads through to a much larger room at the back, giving the bar a sort of dog leg shape. Found the pub ok and the beer satisfactory although a bit of a spruce up would not go amiss.

This is a smartish Joseph Holt tied house well away from the middle of Bolton.
