Alan Winfield left this review about The Oxford
The Oxford is a basic bare brick built pub that is situated at the end of a terrace in Ashtons west end.
Once inside the pub had been opened out but still retained different drinking areas, the pub seemed pretty basic.
The pub was a Bass tied house when i went in it,there were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of keg Bass Toby Light which was a pretty poor drink.
This was very much a locals pub,but i was happy enough doing this pub.
