The Billet is an L-shaped Greene King pub with a central L-shaped bar counter that supports standard and premium keg alongside three hand pumps that were drawing GK IPA alongside Deuchars and a Lilley’s cider. To the left of the bar is a dartboard and a large television that compliments the televisions throughout that were airing several Champions League football matches. The long right-hand side of the pub has banquette seating from front to rear that was being used by a few locals. This pub is a bit out of the way to warrant a revisit.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Billet
Suburban Greene King pub that seems mostly aimed at those just having a drink but a basic food menu is also available. Extended at the back to leave a L-shaped layout, with anonymous semi-modern furniture and decor throughout. Also has a sizeable (if dull) rear beer garden. With all three handpumps in use, I found a surprisingly good pint of IPA (£4.36 with a packet of crisps), Old Speckled Hen and a Lilley's cider being dispensed.
