A roadside pub mainly aimed at holiday makers but which also has a fairly strong local cadre. You enter through the car park and come into a large, light, airy single bar with carpets and a very 1970s feel to it in terms of décor and atmosphere, enhanced by the jukebox selection. One half of the bar area was occupied by a neat row of tables laid out for diners. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, and the nibbles on the bar were a nice touch. There is a dartboard and gaming machines for entertainment and a few tables and chairs outside for smokers. There is no real ale, but there was a selection of bottled beers which was acceptable. OK for a quick pitstop.
