Two-tier bar that specialises in cocktails and expensive lager. One for the Reading 'it' crowd to be seen in.
A bit of history:
Formerly the Cross Keys, an Irish pub run by Morlands that nonetheless managed to a handful of appearances in the Good Beer Guide in the late 1970’s. Its exterior (with crossed keys!) can still be admired but the fine interior was gutted and it has since served a largely 20-something clientele successively as Bukowski’s, JW’s and latterly Sahara’s.
