Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Victory
Remains an old-fashioned community boozer, perched high above the East Farleigh level crossing and River Medway below. Partly opened-out inside at some stage, with one of the original doors closed off to leave the entrance oddly via the pool room. The central bar area has a darts alcove at the far end (which may have been subject to an earlier semi-modern, if basic, refurbishment than the rest of the space). Also has a few small tables out on the front terrace, but the substantial beer garden is a fine spot on a sunny day and offers a grand view across the valley to the parish church across the valley beyond the very attractive medieval bridge (although this is just hidden from here). Just Tribute (£3.20, but in good shape) from the brace of handpumps, and Courage Dark Mild noted amongst the keg offerings.
