Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Swan
Large pub, substantially refurbished both inside and out since my last visit over seven years ago (during which time it has several incarnations, including a period when it seemed to have become an Indian restaurant). Elongated bar with a lounge area at one side, the main dining room at the far end and another small room raised up a few steps at the other. Also has several wooden benches out front (on what looks like artificial grass) and a part-patio / part-grassed beer garden to the rear. Three real ales on handpump: Harvey's, Doom Bar and Rockhopper Ruby Red from Kent & Sussex Brewing (£3.40). Overall, a considerable improvement (and thus rating increased accordingly).
