Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Queens Head
Fine old village inn, approached on either side by a flight of steps and thus quite high above street level. The original multi-room layout has been opened out to form an 'L'-shaped bar and dining area. On a cold winter's day, there is a splendid open fire to warm you up. Fairly rustic furniture and decor. Three Greene King beers on handpump - IPA, Morland Original and Old Golden Hen (£3.10). Very quiet when I visited, but it seems like a decent place.
