4th recent owner, if you include Rockin Robin. One of those was a disaster, another just disappeared. But the new landlord really knows what he’s doing. Bands, open mic nights, Sky TV have all brought the crowds back, and then some. Always crowded, even on weeknights. Prospect of food to come in future. Nice to see a local pub doing so well.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Duke of Edinburgh

First revisit since 2009 (when it was called the Duke of Edinburgh), and although still owned by Shepherd Neame, it has now been run by the local Rockin Robin brewery for a number of years... Disappointingly, though, just Reliant Robin (£3.70, 3) from the row of six handpumps. However, it remains a proper community pub that looks reasonably well kept. Covered outdoor area at the front, and there a good number of wooden benches out back where the car park used to be.

NB - Review dates from October 2022 when it was called the Rockin' Robin on the Green.
