Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Hope Inn

Side-street pub halfway between the town and the beach, with a cafe in a side extension to the original building. Features a L-shaped interior with a lounge in front of the bar and a small dining area heading back to the pleasant beer garden to the rear. Three real ales on handpump: Harvey's, London Pride and the local Fallout from Hopfuzz (£4.50). Nice relaxed feel on a hot September Sunday lunchtime.

Friendly pub, seems to be "local" for many, my visits were over a weekend's afternoons, just a pint and go sort of visit, so unable to comment on food or general feel of the place

Open plan, but has dividing walls, eating area is separated, but could eat at bar tables

3 hand pulls, including Doombar which gets around a bit theses days, including a guest, Harvey's on my visit

Not one to make a journey for, but fine if on seafront and fancy a pint or a meal

Note on the door, closes 6 pm on Sunday, no idea if this is forever or just slow season closing

Great restaurant with delicious food and huge portions for a good price but the bar can feel a little cliquey if you are not 'a local'.
