This village pub is much lighter inside than one might expect, not only in terms of decoration and furniture, but also in window area (including an older-style conservatory entrance lobby now used as a secondary entrance). Limited menu at the moment, but some themed food evenings are also advertised. I found Shepherd Neame's Whitstable Bay Pale (£4.30) and Theakston Best being served from two of the three handpumps.

Beer good, but overpriced. You're paying for the surroundings, and whilst the area is rather posh, this place ain't nothing special.
