Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Sir John Franklin
Not sure exactly how old this pub is, but it has a very traditional and surprisingly large interior. However, whilst largely opened out at some stage, it still retains a lot of character (apart, perhaps, from the scruffy, ad-hoc, part-covered, outdoor area at the back). Disappointingly, none of the three handpumps were operational, leaving the John Smith's (£4.10) as the least-worst option.
