Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Pier Hotel

Landing stage might be closer to the truth than the structure that gave this pub its name, but it certainly played its part in an earlier iteration of the local transport arrangements. However, this is now in a quiet spot at one end of the quiet High Street running parallel to the Thames. Quite large inside the Brewers Tudor façade, with an opened-out, reversed J-shaped layout featuring a range of seating / dining areas with semi-traditional furniture and decor. Just Tribute (£4.20) available from a pair of handpumps.
