Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Ship Inn
Attractive old inn, with a welcome real fire in the front bar area. This part has been refurbished in a semi-traditional style, although the dining areas round to the right now have more modern furniture and decor. A 'private dining' room is also advertised. With only one of the pair of three handpump banks in use, I found Doom Bar, Betty Stogs (£4.50) and Ghost Ship being poured.

Now the only tradional country pub left in the hub of the village or in the near vicinity. If you enjoy good food with real ales and a selection of beers, ciders and wines run by real people and not part of a large chain, this would be the pub for you. One of the last real country pubs
