Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Queens Head
One of many fine old buildings in this village on the former main road between Canterbury and Faversham, this one is said to date from 1590 and is more of a local that Shepherd Neame's other pub located further along The Street. Unfortunately, the interior has been refurbished and doesn't give the impression of age and tradition that you might expect, so on a warm day I took a seat out in the large rear beer garden beyond the recently improved patio area. Even being shortly after the end of the coronavirus lockdown, I was disappointed to find just Master Brew (£3.90) available from the three handpumps.
