Modernised suburban pub on the Crayford side of town, retaining two bars (the smaller of which incorporates another small lounge area beyond). Also features a back room and a tidy rear beer garden. Just one handpump on each counter, dispensing Doom Bar (£4.30) which I guess is the regular cask beer.

The Dart is a typical looking estate pub that is situated well away from the middle of Dartford on a smart looking estate and close to a shopping precinct.
Once inside the pub still has two separate rooms, there is a decent sized lounge to the right which is bare boarded and has normal tables and chairs and lots o leather settees for seating,it all looked so out of place in this type of pub,the bar is on the left side and the TV was showing the Bournemouth v Spurs Game.
The separate bar room to the left is also oblong shaped and runs to the rear, there is bench seating in this room.
There were two real ales on,i had a drink of Doom Bar which was decent enough, the other beer was Bombardier.
Probably one of the most unusual estate pubs i have ever been in.

Roger Button left this review about The Dart

Built in 1958, the Dart was Dartford’s newest pub until Wetherspoons arrived in the town centre in 1994. Set in a residential area midway between Dartford and Crayford, it is not a place you would really come across unless you were looking for it and to be honest there is little from the outside to warrant more than a courtesy glance. The interior is divided into 2 bars, the main bar being 1 large room, split up by a part dividing wall containing a stone fireplace in the centre. The floor is bare and seating is all soft padded retro style. It feels a bit social clubby and to be frank, I wasn’t really expecting much more. I was also not expecting any Ales but was pleasantly surprised to find 3 handpumps although only Harveys was available on my most recent visit (Abbot was off and the third pump redundant). From the display of pump clips adoning the bar canopy and encircling the room they have had some pretty decent brews passing through (albeit the presence of the likes of Strongbow and Carling clips is perhaps pushing the display to the extreme). There is also an abundance of Scotch Whiskey packaging boxes. A separate smaller public bar contains a pool table, TV and dart board and there is a sizeable side room that contains a further dart board but looks to be used more as a creche facility and function room. At the rear is a small but mostly functional garden. Overall, it isn’t the most visually appealing of pubs but it appears friendly enough although I have only been here at off-peak times. It is quite a hike to the next nearest pub and it does therefore have its uses to the local community but for others it is only worth a lucky dip visit if passing by just for the possibility of catching the occasional decent guest beer.
