Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Ye Olde Beverlie
Nice old Shepherd Neame pub at the end of a terrace of almshouses overlooking St Stephen's Green. Partly opened-out inside, but still plenty of character in the various traditionally furnished seating and dining areas around the central servery. A sign out in the beer garden records that it is the home of the local 'bat and trap' ball game. Master Brew, Spitfire and Late Red (£4.35) available from a bank of five handpumps, with Whitstable Bay Pale Ale 'coming soon'.
