A glorious 1930s building which has clearly seen better days but attempts are gradually being made to restore it. The bar/brasserie is in the front room with lovely views over the bay below. A bit of art deco in the middle with sofas and a grand piano gives a nod to the past, but the new glazed frontage is less than authentic and feels more like the 1980s. A bar counter at the side offers just Doom Bar on handpump but does have a few island beers in bottle. Outside is a patio area with even better views of the bay and is a great place for a drink on a nice day.
