Was the Five Bells. Has undergone a massive refurb with a huge new dining hall to the rear that looked very impersonal (was busy though). The old bay window of the pub is the lone impersonal (again) space for drinking, painted in a very dark blue. Weird and slightly edgy atmosphere inside, very mockney nouveau-riche. Just Two Cocks Cavalier on and a massively short measure on all drinks - the barman was not happy on being called out on this and topped up with very bad grace. The resultant liquid was so-so anyway. Weak.
