A large community local in the village centre, retaining a two bar layout. The large public bar feels a little bare, with sanded-down floorboards, stripped-back walls and limited furnishing, although a side room has a couple of large sofas. Two dartboards and a sports TV are prominent, plus an intriguing set of boards listing regulars' names and some number coding, which I never did get to the bottom of. The lounge bar is better furnished and boasts yet another dartboard. Garden at rear not visited. Draught ales were limited to Old Speckled Hen and Island Vectis Venom, which was a bit chewy but that may have been the beer. Very much a locals' pub.
