Soup Dragon left this review about The Fishbourne Inn
A large 1930s half brick and half timber and white rendered pub, restaurant and hotel, with large beer garden - look out for the red squirrels!
The interior is a huge open plan space with tables for dining and comfy chairs and the odd sofa for general relaxing, in yellow and blue decor. The walls have plenty of old photos for interest. The service was very friendly and i chatted to the landlady for a while, as i waited for the ferry and there were no other clientele. There was also no music which was nice.
Beer; tap stuff with two of the three handpulls on, serving Goddard's Fuggle-dee-Dum and Scrumdiggity Bitter (formerly called Special Bitter) and both were good.
Always stop here for the last tot on the island - and very nice it is as well
