An excellent and unpretentious locals' pub, although my view might have been swayed by the array of 8 handpumps with a good mixture of local and national ales, including some dark ones. The pub has two rooms by the bar, with a side room housing pool and darts and a conservatory to the other side. Gardens at rear. Definitely worth seeking out.
