This is an attractive looking pub which is a little walk out of Leominster's centre. There's an initial disappointment on entering, as there are no hand pumps on the bar, but an enquiry elicited the information that they are on the bar in the back room. I wonder how many potential customers have just had a quick glance and given this place a miss?

There are in fact three hand pumps, with two beers from St George's Brewery near Worcester, White Dragon and Dragon's Blood, plus a Thatchers cider. I had the White Dragon, which was an OK beer in reasonable condition. I was quite happy here in the back room, especially as the TV in the front room was belting out some inane crap with a laughter track for the benefit of the pub staff and a couple of regulars. It was only a quiet Tuesday night, but they're not going to attract a lot of passing trade with their hand pumps hidden in the back room and ITV blaring out in the front.
