Two rooms - low ceilinged, dark, quite posh. Laminated floor and low bowed ceiling, presumably aged rather there being a innate structural deficiency. Three ales, Upham Sprinter (good), Ringwood Bitter and a house beer done by Ringwood, according to the barman. A gastro-foody place but we nabbed a little dark snug area in the far corner. Accommodation offered.

Steve of N21 left this review about Greyhound Hotel

The Greyhound is a former 15th century colour-washed coaching inn which stands on the main thoroughfare through Stockbridge, and has recently opened again after undergoing a major re-decoration.
Internally it is two rooms either side of the main bar, both with original low beams and wooden floors.
Like others in town it now centres on food and the right hand room as you enter through the main door is now a posh restaurant section with leather upright chairs and solid wooden tables with tablecloths laid for dining. But to the left there is an open-plan bar lounge area with a couple of bar stools, an inglenook fire place and comfy wing-back armchairs and sofas. However here again , the main use seems to be dining and apart from ourselves, and one local perched on one of the bar stools with his dog obediently underneath, everyone else on this Sunday lunchtime were in for the food.
That was a bit of a shame actually because the bar area was a very comfortable place for just a pint and the beer was good and well-kept as well.
There are three hand pumps on the bar on the lounge side and these were dispensing Hampshire brewed ales in the shape of two Ringwood beers (Fortyniner and Best Bitter ) and Flack Catcher from the Romsey Brewery. We tried all three between us and they were all well-kept as mention.
It still functions as a coaching Inn and there are eight en-suite bedrooms above the downstairs pub / restaurant
