Previously The Cork and Bottle, the building, Ferry House, is late Victorian and was originally the offices of a shipping company. The pub takes up the ground floor and consists of a large, high-ceilinged main bar plus two smaller bar areas. There is no garden, but there is some outside seating, and it doesn’t have its own carpark though there is ample parking nearby. It has the usual JDW tv screen showing BBC news, and a few mute gaming machines. There only seemed to be 2 young staff on and one of these was rather unhelpful. Ten handpumps operating, dispensing Abbott, Ruddles, Doombar, Great Dane lager from Stonehenge, Naked Bliss from Terrapin (an American brewery) and Upham Fields of Gold. Convenient for the Ocean Village marina and very much better value than the over-priced marina lounge bars.

Wetherspoon's pub, probably one of the best. Decent beer and decent food, what's not to like.

As mentioned in earlier reviews, a quieter 'Spoons with a slightly strange layout, but otherwise fairly standard. Fair enough if in the area.
