Aged multi-roomed pile in a new-build housing estate. Looks from the outside to be a number of buildings mashed into one. Massive L shape interior. Impressively large garden featuring a pond overlooked by mature woodland. One ale on, a murky Doom Bar. Could be one of Berkshires best but isn't - shame.

Fairly bland average pub that is more geared to food. You can wait a while to be served in here if there are people eating. Not very inspiring to be honest.
