A good side street local with one light, bright bar: high ceilings, big windows and some nice arches reveal something of the pub's history. Pool is to one side, with a few sports TVs the other and darts in an alcove round the back. A cupboard in the back contains a stock of board games. Beers are from the Marston's wider range, with EPA, Ringwood Razorback and Brakspears bitter available at time of visit. Wouldn't be bad to have as your local.
