A good solid locals back street boozer, with a hearty atmosphere and very welcoming. Three pumps with two on, serving Tribute and Bowman Brewery Swift One. The Bowman beer was in excellent condition and prices were reasonable.

A basic locals pub just away from the main town centre. A single opened out front room with a a few normal sized tables and chairs scattered around. Only two beers on first thing Sunday morning, Andwell King John and St Austell Tribute the latter being in good shape.
A reasonably decent pub.

No longer a Wadworth tied house. Open plan multiple refurb mish-mash interior with a faintly loungey left side and faintly public bar right side. Bar is to the left with a bespoke bar back that has a built-in leaded glass spirits cupboard. Predominantly a locals place and fairly friendly, the old skool guv’nor made a point of saying hello and goodbye. Wood burner spotted. Four pumps with two on and local ales at that - Bowman Wallops (decent nick) and Red Cat Prowler. Jukey. Whilst not one to get over-excited about, it’s worth having a look if you’re in town. 6.5
