While most of our group were in the Navigation, I walked up the VERY steep path alongside the beer garden up to the top main road, turned left and walked up the road to the Swan in a pretty market square. This was a pleasant multi roomed pub belonging to Marstons, but with a good range of their beers on the bar including one from both Ringwood and Marston brewery I hadn't seen before. I chose the Marstons Saddle Tank which went down well in the very pleasant sun trap of a drinking area at the front of the pub. The pub is very much a locals community pub with a function room upstairs. Deserves its place in the 2017 Good Beer Guide.
